No. You get non-root SSH, which covers Rsync, SFTP and SCP — enough for scripted backups and scheduled syncs. If you need root, custom daemons, or a box you can tune yourself, take a Virtual Server instead and we will tell you so if you ask.
No, and this is the one thing worth checking before you order. Storage plans carry no mailboxes. Pair one with our business email for SMTP and POP/IMAP, or use a standard hosting plan where mail is part of the account.
